Alien Circuit

Alien Circuit is an R&D piece created in Substance Designer, ZBrush and UE5 for the 80.lvl showcase on my work with abstract substances. You can view the main article for the main tutorial and detailed breakdown.

I wanted to create a Sci-fi scene reminiscent of designs from H.R. Giger. The substance is mainly driven by different shapes processed through the pixel processor. The resulting 8k textures were then imported to ZBrush in order to generate and process a high poly mesh. I then imported the model as a nanite mesh and build the scene and lighting setup. Renders were done at 4k with with Lumen GI and Reflections
