Echonous Vein is a marketing VR interactive experience showcasing the Vein ultrasound scanner from the company Echonous. The first part of the experience contains a non interactive informative animation section. The interactive part places the user in a room where they have to follow instructions and accomplish certain tasks involving scanning and IV placement. All characters were based on modified photo scanned models that were animated and had accompanying voice overs. One the really interesting tasks here, was to creating most of the Holographic HUD VFX inside UE4. Essentially I ended up using the sequencer in a similar way to After effects creating motion graphics through animated materials and shaders. Characters and most of the props where made by our artists.
